Shareholders of Chemed Corporation (NYSE:CHE) today elected a slate of
10 directors at the Company’s 2016 annual shareholders’ meeting. Each of
the directors continues from the prior term.
Shareholders ratified the continuation of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP as
the Company’s independent accountants for 2016. In addition,
shareholders approved Chemed’s executive compensation and reapproved the
performance objectives of the 2006 and 2010 Stock Incentive Plans and
Target Bonus Program.
Dividend Declared
Following the shareholders’ meeting, Chemed’s Board of Directors
declared a quarterly cash dividend of 24 cents per share on the
Company’s capital stock, payable on June 15, 2016, to shareholders of
record as of May 26, 2016. This represents the 180th consecutive
quarterly dividend paid to shareholders in Chemed’s 45 years as a public
company.
